PARKINSON'S DISEASE

Parkinson's Disease (PD) is a chronic, incurable neurologic condition that primarily affects movements. Symptoms of the early stages of PD typically include chronic constipation, lack of facial expression, decreased arm swinging when walking, and mild slurred speech. PD affects people differently, but classically the disease progresses to tremors, slowed movements (bradykinesia), muscle rigidity or spasticity, impaired posture or balance, slurred speech, and difficulty writing. Medical marijuana has been shown to be effective to help with the following PD symptoms:

Difficult movements (dyskinesia or bradykinesia)
Muscle spasms or rigidity
Insomnia
Anxiety
