Physician
Casey grew up in the small town of Alvarado, Texas. Being a first-generation college student, she did not start college knowing she was going to become a doctor. In the beginning, Casey was happy for the opportunity to get a higher education. She graduated from Texas Christian University with a double major in Biology and Chemistry, minor in psychology. Then, went on to get her medical degree from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2010. After completing medical school, Casey completed Family Medicine residency at Charlton Methodist in Dallas, where she was honored to be chief resident. Casey is board certified in Family Medicine but has always worked in rural ERs, providing her the compassion and understanding of the toll a chronic condition can make on both the lives of the patient and their family.Â
When not at work, Casey enjoys spending time with her amazingly supportive and loving husband, Tim, and their two boys. She enjoys traveling, hanging out with her animals (dogs, cows, and a miniature donkey), hunting, and enjoying nature.
