HUNTINGTON'S DISEASE

Huntington's disease, also known as Huntington's chorea, is a neurodegenerative condition affecting the basal ganglia. It is most commonly inherited from a parent, but a small percentage result from a spontaneous mutation. Symptoms typically begin between ages 30 and 50 years. It is characterized by gait instability, cognitive decline, and involuntary movements known as chorea. Medical marijuana has been shown to helpful for several distressing HD symptoms:
